The course itself was designed by Madrid native golf architect Juan Liques and opened doors to the public in late 2001. When you finally read the fairway in your golf cart ride into the picturesque valley, you realise the subtle nuance of placing this tee shot in the right location. Facing you now is a second shot which is just as, if not more spectacular than the first. Your approach needs to be hit to a now elevated green that is protected by a huge bunker, and a huge olive tree which stands in gentle isolation, distracting you from your target pin high on this slick undulating green.
